ROBUS LED Group is a globally recognised lighting brand supplying energy-efficient LED solutions via electrical wholesalers worldwide. Its expanding product range increased the need for consistent, multichannel product data.
The challenge
ROBUS LED Group’s product information landscape had grown organically and was no longer fit for purpose:
Rapidly increasing number of lighting products and accessories, with complex technical, marketing and regulatory data requirements
Heavy reliance on manual processes to manage and distribute product information across channels, countries and languages
No centralised system of record, leading to inefficiencies, duplication and version control issues
Difficulty maintaining accurate, standardised product attributes suitable for e-commerce, webshops and catalogue publishing
Need for scalable solutions that would support both digital and printed product communication
It became clear that the organisation needed a scalable, automated and centralised product information management solution.
The solution
ROBUS evaluated several options and selected Etimix PIM, a purpose-built Product Information Management platform with strong support for industry standards such as ETIM and automated publishing workflows. The solution was chosen to:

Approach
1. Centralised PIM implementation
All product information, technical specifications, descriptions and digital assets were consolidated into one central Etimix PIM environment, eliminating spreadsheets, silos and manual duplication.
2. Industry classification with ETIM
Etimix PIM was integrated with ROBUS webshops and other systems. This enabled automated distribution of structured product data — including consistent updates for ecommerce platforms and partner systems.
3. AutoPub catalogue publishing
Using the AutoPub module, ROBUS can now generate online and printed catalogues directly from the PIM, including category structures, images, attachments and fully formatted product pages — cutting manual production time drastically
4.Digital Asset Management
All product photography, brochures, technical files and marketing assets were centralised and linked directly to products, ensuring fast and error-free access for teams and systems.
